wasn't really planing it...since i don't see smythes in battle and crap....but then again...Negotiator is the same way....ill consider it

I concidered it....and decided to make this a job class...as a Smythe you will also have the option of a side job, to be able to particiapate in missions. Smythes will be able to level up. as they produce weapons they will gain exp from that. the higher the level, the stronger the weapon, the more money you can make. the side job will be more limited. as you can only max a side job to lv 50....i will also allow this with negotiator as well unless somone disagrees...ill work it out later unless you have in mind how you want the Smythe to work already

Description for Job Classes section

Smythe
Also known as a Blacksmith, These people mostly work in there shop producing items, weapons, and weapon upgrades to sell to customers. There skills vary and some can even make legendary weapons. As well as work in there own shop, they can also take on a side job for some extra money to help run the shop, or for there own pocket. Smythes keep approximately 60% of earnings from sales, the rest goes toward the materials used, and keeping the shop from being closed down.

Does this side-job thing mean that they can be a part-time retriever(or another one of those classes) or does it mean that you can be a smythe and an accountant(or other normal job)? Just a little confused, but highly interested.

The side job would be like a retriever, protcetor, whatever....only diffrence is a sis job has a max-out of level 50. this will stay if you choose to jo that class in full though.

(EXample. Smythe/Retriever. reach lv 50 with Retriever, and you want to go full time retriever, you may without loseinmg the 50 levels you gained)

Ahxakri, ill place you in charge of determaining what the exp system is....and item and things like that since you are the one who came up with the idea

Since he is going to be in and out a little bit for awhile as you said in the Intro/Outro thread I wouldn't mind continuing to work on whatever he has done since I can't seem to find any system up for it all yet. I did see the exp for it, but not much more.

look in the updates thread...i ste up a system for it, and it seems that he has changed his mind for now and is a retriever....but any planes you have for the job...throw it at me!!!

Alright, catch:

Experience table edit:<--
You said legendary somewhere in a description so I added it in


01-10: 10 EXP (can make low lv 1 weapons. 2 exp per lv 1 weapon, and upgrade)
10-20: 30 EXP (can make low lv 2 weapons. 4 exp per lv 2 weapon, and upgrade)
20-30: 60 EXP (can make low lv 3 weapons. 8 exp per lv 3 weapon, and upgrade)
30-40: 120 EXP (can make mid lv 4 weapons. 16 exp per lv 4 weapon, and upgrade)
40-50: 300 EXP (can make mid lv 5 weapons. 32 exp per lv 5 weapon, and upgrade)
50-60: 500 EXP (can make mid lv 6 weapons. 64 exp per lv 6 weapon, and upgrade)
60-70: 800 EXP (can make high lv 7 weapons. 128 exp per lv 7 weapon, and upgrade)
70-80: 1000 EXP (can make high lv 8 weapons. 256 exp per lv 8 weapon, and upgrade)
80-90: 2000 EXP (can make high lv 9 weapons. 512 exp per lv 9 weapon, and upgrade)
90-100: 4000 EXP (can make legendary lv 10 weapons. 1024 exp per lv 10 weapon, and upgrade)
<--added exp so it is now possible to level from 90 to 100


Upgrades:
<--made a list of additional upgrades in addition to just upgradeing a weapon at your smythe level area


Levels 1-3 :
Repair 1 - Can repair any standard metal parts of a damaged weapon or armour as long as most of the blade is still there
Decor - Can inscribe patterns and pictured onto the weapon/armor

Levels 4-6 :
Shape - The smythe can reshape a weapon so it has a distinctive shape on it or turn it into a weapon of a similar type (i.e: dagger to a knife or sword to a saber)
Repair 2 - Can repair the standard parts of a weapon/armor even without the piece broken off
Facet - Add a gem(s) to the weapon/armor

Levels 7-9 :
Repair 3 - Can repair the fine metals such as gold and silver in addition to the standard metals.
Gild - Can add precious metals to the armor/weapon in a manner that will not weaken the blade, but make it look more impressive
Plate - add a layer of different type of metal to give it some form of advantage(more heat resistant, acid resistant, air resistant, harder...)

Level 10 :
Name - Weapon/Armor is named and becomes sentient if not already so
Imbue - Weapon/Armor recieves an elemental attribute or ability
Imbue Gem - The gems on the armor/weapon ca be given an elemental alignment or ability

Metals
<--figured a list would be nice so there is a quick sheet to just grab a metal, probably needs more and just because they are here doesn't mean they are just what they say


Precious Metals:
Silver
Gold
Platinum{
Rhodium
Palladium
Iridium
Ruthenium}
<--all in the platinum family, but have different attributes


Standard:
Bronze
Iron
Steel
Tantalum
Tungsten
